The whole church is invited to be apart of the workshop led by Sanctuary Ministries.

Lunch is provided

This workshop breaks down the barriers between “us” and “them” when we speak about mental health, allowing each of us to recognize we are all positioned on the mental health continuum somewhere between languishing and flourishing --  whether diagnosed with a mental illness, or not. Participants will consider individual capacity, stress, and vulnerability as they relate to mental health and the resources and practices that have helped them and others move from surviving to thriving. We will also explore the mental health recovery journey and value of spiritual community and relationships in recovery. The focus of this workshop is on being Christ’s love, light and hope by putting the person at the centre of our focus, rather than diagnoses.
